Post 4 - Your Favorite Book

Definitively I am not a book person. Is not that I don’t like them, I actually get into a book quickly when I start it, bat that’s the problem, is hard to me to start reading something. I just prefer other forms of storytelling, like movies or series. I used to read more when I was in school, because they made us read a book per month and my favorites ones among those were the fantastic and the mystery ones. I remember that I liked Edgar Allan Poe because of his scary stories and because they were shorts, so I didn’t have problems finishing them. I also read Cien años de soledad in school. I think that was the last book a read. I really enjoyed that book because it was something new to me. The world that Gabriel García Márquez created was very interesting. The town, the people, the magical things that happened were amazing. I’d totally recommend it to anyone, I’m sure everyone would like it. I also liked poetry, I mean, I liked Nicanor Parra, so it wasn’t really poetry. I liked him as a character, a renegade that went against the norms and the classics. Actually I just read a couple antipoems by him and I felt like floating on water when reading his words.

Post 3 - My Favorite Movie

I don’t like when someone ask me this question because, I really don’t have a favorite movie. It’s just impossible for me to pick one among all the different ones out there. Is like bands or songs. Also, movies are so different between them, like, there are many movie genres and I like a lot of them, and the ones that I don’t, I must watch the anyway because of my career. But more important than that, every time you watch a movie is a different experience. For example, when I went to watch It a couple of years ago, I had a really good time at the cinema, so that could be my favorite movie theater experience, but the actual movie is not that good. So, I see this question like an occasion movie, like in which context you watch the movie, not the movie by itself. I think the last movie I watched was my favorite alone in my bedroom in a sad mood movie. It’s a Japanese animated movie called Kimi no Na wa, Your Name in English. This movie is a boy and a girl, that don’t know each other, that somedays wake in the body of the other one. That’s a bad description but I really recommend that movie. It’s a beautiful one, the kind of movies where you cry a lot, and it’s a nice first movie to watch if you are ether interest in Japanese animation or culture.

Post 2 - My favorite Concert Ever

I like music a lot. I like listening and playing it. Music has been a very important aspect of my life. But despite all of this, I haven’t been in a lot of concerts. I think I can count them with one hand. My favorite one must be Arctic Monkeys in 2014 at Movistar Arena. Arctic Monkeys is a British band from Sheffield, and they play like indie rock, I guess. This was the first time that I bought my own ticket so my sit was kindda far but that didn’t matter. I remember people were excited before the show, when the sound checking guys got upstage everyone started chanting. When the actual concert started everyone freaked out. The stage was dark, and the band was lit only with a backlight and it stayed like that for a while, until the forth song, Brianstorm, when white and red lights started to flick, and everything went crazy. I think this was my favorite concert because it was like my first real concert and it was my favorite band at the time.
